When perusing the letters to the editor, one has to wonder about all the finger-pointing by one side or the other concerning almost any desired political agenda. These missives are mostly opinion and rarely state any facts backed by sources.
What is never discussed is how the various media outlets have played the greatest role in dividing this nation. Newspapers have obvious bias as do all of the cable news and opinion networks. Varying opinions sadly override the facts and when proven to be false the opinions are never corrected.
A divided country isn’t helped by partisan politics, which have consumed all of our congressional members. It would be refreshing for all of these representatives to work for the good of all the people and cease party bickering. Is this even remotely possible? One can only hope.
