Eligibility Requirements: We offer clinics to spay and neuter your dogs, cats and rabbits. Your pet must be healthy and less than 5 years old. While at the clinic your pet will have surgery, be given pain medications, have toenails clipped, be treated for fleas and ear mites, and be given rabies and distemper vaccines. All cats will need to come to the clinic in a safe carrier (one cat per carrier) with a towel in it. Your pet will go home the same day as the surgery and need to rest for 7 days after surgery.

Eligibility Requirements:To be eligible to participate in this program you must be a cat owner.

Fees: Cats only, $90 for female and $65 for male. (Price includes nail trims) $15 rabies vaccine if needed. $25 micro-chipping (optional) $10 flea/tick preventative (optional) Non-refundable payment is due in full at time of registration. Cash or credit only. No checks please.

Dept. of Agriculture Animal Population Control

Eligibility Requirements: Discounts for qualified low-income families. To be eligible to participate in this program you must be on one of the seven programs: Food Stamps, Medicaid or Healthy Kids Gold, TANIF, The Old Age Assistance Program, Supplemental Security Income Program, Aid to the Needy Blind Program, APTD Program. A person may also be qualified if they meet the income guidelines for the program. Please call 271-3697 to obtain these guidelines or online at agriculture.nh.gov/divisions/animal-industry/animal-population-control.htm.

Fees: $25 per animal which includes spay or neuter and $15 towards a rabies vaccination.

Spay Program forMother Cats

Eligibility Requirements: You and your cat must meet various criteria to qualify for this program. Call for information.

Greater NashuaHumane Society

Eligibility Requirements: Low cost vaccination clinics and low cost spay/neuter clinics.

Fees: Female and male cats $90. Male dogs: $200. They do not do female dogs.

Friends of Animals Program

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible to participate in this program you must be a cat or dog owner regardless of financial need.

Fees: Dogs are $110 for females and $74 for males. Cats are $85 for females and $61 for males.

Procedure: Obtain an application by calling 1-800-321-7387 or friendsofanimals.org. Write to: Friends of Animals, PO Box 30054, Hartford, Conn., 06150. Mail in the application with appropriate fee and you will be sent a certificate and list of participating veterinarians. Then call and make an appointment with a participating veterinarian. Additional charges may apply depending on individual vet that you choose.

Merrimack RiverFeline Rescue Society

Catmobile Locations are subject to change (mobile unit)

Fees: Female cats $120, Male cats $80. Qualified feral cats are $40.

Procedure: To make an appointment with the Catmobile call 978-465-1940 or go to catmobile.org. for online booking, Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monthly schedule located at mrfrs.org.

Rozzie May Animal Alliance

Procedure: Call 447-1373 or visit rozziemay.org. Vaccines also available and has a mobile unit that travels to Rochester, Dover and Brentwood from April through November.

Spay Neuter AssistanceProgram

Eligibility Requirements: SNAP is designed to help those individuals who cannot afford spay/neuter surgery and who do not qualify for other spay/neuter assistance programs.

Fees: $150 for female cats, $95 for male cats, $175 for male dogs, $250 for female dogs.

Procedure: Please visit nhhumane.org/snap.php to fill out an online application and to see current fee schedule and dates for surgery.

PAW Program: $20 if on state assistance.

Animal Welfare Society of Kennebunk, Maine

Fees: Cats $60, male dog (must be under 50 pounds) $150, female dog (must be under 50 pounds) $200. Rabies vaccines are available for $10. In addition, there are programs available for low-income residents.

Animal Allies

Eligibility Requirments: Open to any cat owner that needs financial assistance getting their cat spayed/neutered. animalallies.org
