People are wondering why New Hampshire state inspection fees are going up. Not only do we have to pay fees for the vehicles we put through the Gordon-Darby state inspection machine but we also pay for Internet service, ink, paper and the stickers, along with all of our other overhead expenses. Now the state wants us to do a criminal background check on the owners at cost to us in order to renew our inspection station license, which also costs money.
In my opinion, itโs just another way to get more money from businesses by adding more fees. They do this so they can claim New Hampshire has โno new taxes.โ
After being in business doing inspections for more than 30 years, I think the state should do the inspections.
Oh, thatโs right โ they wouldnโt make any money.
