■The meal schedule has been updated at the Open Door Community Kitchen, held in Fellowship Hall (rear parking lot entry) at United Church of Penacook, serving free hot and nutritious meals every Monday and Wednesday. People can arrive and enter the hall at 4 p.m. In-house meals are served from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. and take out service is available from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

■Voting in the NH Presidential Primary will be held at the Boscawen Public Library on Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is on the third floor of the Town Municipal Building and there is elevator access.
■The Boscawen Public Library will be closed on Tuesday in light of the primary being held there. They will be open on Monday with full access to books but with limited access to computers. Bone Builder classes and the Craft Group typically held on Monday are cancelled for that day, only. The library will reopen Wednesday at 10 a.m.
■Winter hours for Mondays only, at the Boscawen Public Library start tomorrow and they will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
■A public hearing on the proposed 2024 budget will be held on Feb. 1 after 6 p.m. at the Municipal Office Building in the fourth floor meeting room, 116 N. Main St., Boscawen, if attendance exceeds capacity, overflow seating will be at the Boscawen Public Library. The public has the option to listen to the hearing via Go-To-Meeting.
