“Fire on the Mountain” Chili Fest has been Henniker Rotary Club’s signature fund raiser for nearly two decades fueling its philanthropic efforts. A family-friendly, destination event, it attracts visitors from southern New Hampshire, Massachusetts and other states to Pat’s Peak. The location allows us to spread out, have 45 chili sampling tents, craft, service and food vendors, a KidZone, Car Show and Music Tent, and space to hang out with family and friends on a sultry August day.
It, indeed, takes a village and the 30 Henniker rotarians are indebted to the chili makers, Hillsboro/Deering DECA, White Birch Center, NEC Sports Teams, friends and family of club members, judges Rick Broussard, NH Magazine, Adam Parker, Fratellos Italian Grille, Matt Ingersoll, Hippo Press, event photographer Kat Strange and MC Steve Friedman, The River all of whom volunteer their time.
Thank you to sponsors: Ayer and Goss Fuels, Davis & Towle, Dunkin’ Donuts of Henniker, Edmunds Hardware, Henniker Family Dentistry, Pharmacy and Veterinary Hospital, Merrimack County Savings Bank, Morse Sporting Goods, New England College and TDS Telecom, media partners, Granite Quill Publications and The River and to the staff of Pats Peak.
We are grateful to all who attended and helped raise funds that help communities we serve and people in need around the world. For information on Chili Fest 2020, contact mskrotzer@yahoo.com.
Sincerely,
Steve Neuhoff,
