Firefighters from around the area rescued a woman and two children from a burning house on Deer Meadow Road in Webster Wednesday.
A report of house fire with people trapped was calling in to the Webster Fire Department around 3:21 p.m.
Webster Fire Chief Webster Fire Chief Emmett Bean, Sr. was one of the first people to arrive on scene and reported a heavy smoke condition in the building with a woman needing rescue from a window on the second floor, authorities said.
Fire and police units, along with mutual aid fire companies, arrived on scene and used ladders to rescue the 37-year-old woman, a nine year old girl and a four year old bout over ground ladders of three victims.
All three were transported from the scene to Concord Hospital by ambulance and later transferred to Massachusetts General Hospital for additional care and treatment, authorities said.
The N.H. State Fire Marshal’s Office – Bureau of Investigations and the Webster Police and Fire Departments are investigating into the origin and cause of the fire.
