We need forward-thinking leadership from the governor’s office, and Chris Sununu has proven he is not up to the task.
He has failed New Hampshire citizens by refusing to address, much less even recognize, climate change. Instead, he’s demonstrated that he is beholden to fossil fuel industries.
He has turned his back on families by vetoing a workable paid family medical leave initiative. Working parents and adult children of aging parents need financial security, but Gov. Sununu doesn’t seem to care about the well-being of New Hampshire families.
Gov. Sununu flunks when it comes to supporting public education. He has abandoned New Hampshire cities and towns that have had to make drastic cuts to public education budgets because they have maximized their reliance on local property taxes and are needing more state aid to adequately fund their schools.
We need fresh ideas to address these and other crucial problems New Hampshire is facing. All that Gov. Sununu has offered are vetoes to problem-solving legislation.
Dan Feltes has practical ideas and the experience and energy to move our state forward. Let’s vote for Dan and get some new blood and effective leadership in the governor’s office.
