History chronicles the transfer of wealth and power. If we look at it that way, we may realize soldiers and civilians have been reduced to a disposable commodity, sent to war for profit and power. The human race worldwide has been reduced to digits on a spreadsheet. Why do we go to war? It’s a rich man’s game played with poor men’s lives.
