Cinde Warmington has been a colleague and friend for nearly 20 years. I strongly support her candidacy for Executive Council.
When Cinde first came to work with me, she was a working mother and I a working father. We shared our hopes for our children, all the while balancing the needs of the work place and the demands of our clients. Cinde brought a balance and perspective to this challenge. She was ever present.
She was also a hub of strength when health issues and tragedy struck her extended family. All eyes turned to Cinde and she met the challenges with grace. Again, she was ever present.
Despite these demands, she developed one of the stateโs leading health care practices. Her vision was to not only resolve the problems before her but to predict and foresee future issues, addressing them before they occurred. In the ever-changing world of health care, this is not easy. Physicians and hospitals throughout the state have continually relied upon her sound judgment and experience.
She put the same effort into work for the Democratic Party. She traveled door to door, canvassing voters and participating in get-out-the-vote drives. She was chair of her town Democratic Party Committee and for 10 years she went on โlistening toursโ throughout our state. For this and more, she received the Democratic Partyโs grassroots archivist award.
Two decades later, we are both working grandparents. Her work as councilor will focus on a better and more robust future for our children and grandchildren.
