The driver of a tractor-trailer suffered minor injuries in a crash that closed Interstate 89 southbound in Warner into early Sunday morning.

Multiple callers reported around 10:30 p.m. on Saturday that the tractor-trailer went off the road into the median. When they arrived, Troopers found a 2022 white FreightlinerCascadia with extensive damage. After the initial investigation, Troopers and emergency medical services personnel determined the crash was the result of a medical emergency.

The left travel lane of I-89 southbound was closed for approximately five hours during the investigation and the Freightliner was removed.
