I’m confused about something. The city of Concord has public hearings when developers and organizations want to develop or build something that needs variances, so they have a public hearing to hear what abutters and the general public have to say about it. Lots of times there are more people against it than for it, yet the variances are granted and up goes the development or building. So why waste everyone’s time when you all have already made a decision. Recent examples are the Domino’s/Aroma Joe’s in Penacook, the apartments that are going to be built next to the cemetery in Penacook and the DES building on Main Street in Concord. Can someone explain it?
