The Windmill Family Restaurant is again offering Thanksgiving dinners Thursday from noon to 3 p.m. A tradition was started in 1990 when Louis Smirnioudis paired with the Friendly Kitchen in offering meals to the homeless. His son, Kosmas, and family members are keeping the tradition alive. Smirnioudis, family and staff will be cooking 65 turkeys over the coming days and has over 100 pounds of squash to cut up by Thursday morning.
