BowPumpkin patch opens

The Bow Mills United Methodist Church, 505 South St., Bow, will be hosting its 16th annual Pumpkin Patch with 1,000 pumpkins covering the front lawn. Pumpkins of all shapes and sizes for all your needs. Bring your family, neighbors and friends and take pictures. Proceeds from the pumpkin sales will go to support Friends of Forgotten Children, New Hampshire Food Bank and Disaster Relief. FranklinTRIP Center open

The TRIP Senior Center, 12 Rowell Drive, Franklin, is open from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday. It serves lunch and offers a variety of exercise classes, activities including bingo and cribbage, health screenings, educational classes, a bus service for Franklin and surrounding areas, and so much more. HennikerHomegrown event

On Oct. 2 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Henniker Community Market will celebrate its 10th season with this year’s second Henniker Handmade & Homegrown event. Nearly 40 artisans, farmers, and food makers will gather on the lawn in the Henniker Community Center Park for this special artisans and farmers market, focused on locally-sourced items. Hot soups will available from Abby’s Cafe, and the Country Spirit Restaurant will be grilling sausages and selling sweet treats. There will be live music performances on the Angela Robinson bandstand from Walker Smith, The Complete Unknowns, and Beechwood. There will also be raffles to win.
