Brian Lamontagne was recently promoted to branch manager of Franklin Savings Bank’s Gilford office. Lamontagne joined Franklin Savings Bank in July 2016 as a personal banker at the main office in Franklin, then he was promoted to assistant branch manager of the Gilford office in January 2018. He is a 2018 graduate of Northern New England School of Banking and the Applied Leadership Institute through the University of New Hampshire.

Shauntee Currier has been promoted to residential mortgage loan originator and will be based at Franklin Savings Banks’s main office in downtown Franklin. She joined the bank’s retail team in July 2013 as a part-time teller at the Boscawen office, then she was elevated to a teller position at the Tilton office and a floating personal banker role. In 2016, she transitioned into a loan processing specialist position, then advanced to junior residential mortgage loan originator this past March.

Edward D. Philpot, Jr. a solo practitioner was named the new president of the New Hampshire Bar Association at its annual meeting at the Omni Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods. He succeeds David W. McGrath of Sheehan Phinney Bass & Green PA.

Susan Ryan, CEO of Spaulding Youth Center, successfully completed the rigorous and prestigious Leadership New Hampshire program. Ryan was also nominated by her class of 40 associates to serve as the graduation keynote speaker.

Evan Stowell has been named managing partner of Leone, McDonnell & Roberts, Professional Association. Stowell was named partner and appointed secretary in 2012, and he has been an integral member of firm management. He succeeds Jack Callahan, who served as managing partner for seven years. Stowell began his career with the firm in 2002 following his graduation from Southern New Hampshire University.
