Two Concord restaurants are among five eateries being investigated by the state for connection to potential COVID-19 community exposure this month.
State health officials said Friday at least five people who have tested positive for COVID-19 visited The Draft Sports Bar and Grill, 67 South Main St., while potentially infectious on Friday, Oct. 9, and several subsequent days.
Possible exposure to the virusย could have occurred between Oct. 9ย and Oct. 18, state officials said.
It said at least two people who have tested positive visited The Barley House, 132 N. Main St., during the week starting Monday, Oct. 12.
โAnyone who visited the establishmentโ since those dates โshould watch for symptoms and seek testing should they develop,โย according to the Department of Health and Human Services.
The report also cited potential COVID-19 exposure at two restaurants in Portsmouth โ the Goat Bar and Grill and the Daniel Street Tavern โ as well as Bantam Grill in Peterborough.
Outbreaks during small gatherings, such as at restaurants, are increasingly cited in contributing to the community-wide spread of the coronavirus.
