After several days of lower totals, the number of new cases of COVID-19 jumped Friday.

On Friday, DHHS announced 66 new positive test results for COVID-19, the most in a week. There have now been 885 cases  diagnosed in New Hampshire, 48% of them in females and 52% in males.

One new death was also reported, a woman aged 60 or older in Hillsborough County.

So far, 134 or 15% of the positive cases have been hospitalized.
