■The last week to purchase cut flowers at Hannaford in Franklin with $1 per purchase going to the local non-profit, Franklin Outing Club. This is a great time of year to brighten your home with fresh flowers.
■Franklin Gear Makerspace has instituted after-school programs at Frankin Middle School in woodworking and culinary. Thanks to the volunteer adults who are making this possible, as a healthy learning experience to enhance the students’ education.
■Affordable Hearing will be at the TRIP Center on April 3 at 10:45 a.m. for free hearing evaluations. This organization does not sell hearing aids or promote any product.
■Franklin Adult Co-Ed Softball is looking for sponsors for our upcoming season. There are multiple levels of sponsorship, if you are interested, Kyle Kaplan would love to talk with you. Visit franklinadultcoedsoftball.org for more information.
■If you haven’t already, please register your child for Kindergarten for next September at Paul Smith School. If your child will turn five years old by Sept. 30 your child is eligible. Please call Ms. McDonald at (603) 934-4144 and provide her with your child’s name, date of birth, parents’ name and contact information.
■Free tax preparation is available at the TRIP Center by calling 211 to set an appointment. The program is ongoing through April 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
■Meals to Go are distributed at the TRIP Center on Mondays as well as home delivery of Meals on Wheels. Lunches are served at the center on Tuesday and Thursday. Call Nancy at 934-4151 for information.
