The Hopkinton House of Art, which is transitioning to Two Village Art Society, has opened a new exhibit, “For the Love of Art: A Multi-Generational Art Show.” “For the Love of Art” celebrates the power of art as a connector within our families and across generations. The show presents artists as young as two-year-old Dorie Emerson to artists as experienced as 72-year-old John King and features paintings, photos, sculptures, woodworking, and mixed media.
The show, curated by Hopkinton School District Art Teacher Kim Emerson, includes over 30 artists from 12 local families and will be on display from Sept. 15 through Oct. 9. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday, noon to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Masks are required and the number of visitors will be limited. Visitors may reserve open gallery time by emailing info@twovillagesart.org.
