Here are the basics of budget season in SAU 24. Public Hearings on each district’s proposed budget in January will be via Zoom.
The Henniker School Board will hold a public hearing on it’s proposed 2021-22 Weare School District Budget on Jan. 12, at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The regular school board meeting begins at 6:15 p.m.
The Deliberative Session Session 1 Meeting will be held on Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. The regular school board meeting begins at 6:15 p.m.
Filing for School District Offices is open from Jan. 20 until 5 p.m. on Jan. 29. Those wishing to file should contact the Office of the Superintendent of Schools at 428-3269, ext. 240. There are two 3-year terms for school board member, one 1-year term for school district clerk, and one 1-year term for treasurer open for election.
Persons wishing to submit warrant articles for inclusion in the 2021 Henniker School District warrant must submit such warrants to the Henniker School Board, c/o Office of the Superintendent no later than Jan. 12. Voting day is March 9.
