The Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire endorsed Democratic gubernatorial candidate Mark Connolly on Monday afternoon.
The endorsement is Connolly’s second from a labor union, the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 104 endorsed the Seacoast businessman in May.
PFFNH President Dave Lang cited Connolly’s experience in the Bureau of Securities Regulation as a reason for the endorsement.
Fellow Democratic candidate and Executive Councilor Colin Van Ostern leads the field in labor union endorsements; he has netted nine so far, including a June endorsement from teachers’ union NEA New Hampshire and a Monday endorsement from Carpenters Local Union 118.
