Concord 8, Nashua North 0

Key players: Concord – Emma Beaujouan (3 goals), Ally McGonigle (2 goals), Amy Desrochers (goal), Allison Dupuis (goal), Malena Caceres (goal)

Highlights: The Tide had its most prolific offensive showing of the seasonin winning its fifth straight game.

Girls’ Soccer

Milford 5, John Stark 3

Key players: Milford – Marissa Sage (3 goals);John Stark – Megan Rousseau (2 goals), Meghan Mefford (goal, assist), Sophia McGinty (2 assists), Lexi Boudreau (goalie)

Highlights: Boudreau made several impressive saves, including a penalty kick in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to hold off the Spartans as the Generals lost their first match of the season.

Coe-Brown 5, Keene 1

Key players: Coe-Brown – Bella Lapierre (2 goals), Lily Wolf (goal, 3 assists), Kylie Prusia (goal), Somer Loto (goal), Samantha Perron (assist)

Highlights: Coe-Brown opened the scoring in the 18th minute on a goal from Loto, with the first of Wolf’s three assists. Freshman Lapierre scored the next two goals for the Bears as they took a 3-0 lead into the half. Coe-Brown added goals from Wolf and Prusia to take a 5-0 lead before Keene sophomore Jocelyn Downing scored on a free kick deep in the CBNA zone.

Coach’ quote: “Long road game against a team we know nothing about and who are used to playing D-I, and the girls stepped up. This was a great way to start our week, but now we have to prepare for Pembroke on Wednesday. This week will let us know where we stand with Pembroke and Oyster River.
