Donald Levesque, a former assistant teacher at Shaker Road School in Concord, accused of raping an underage student two years ago, is expected to plead guilty next week to charges in the case, according to court records.

The 31-year-old, who also coached youth football until his arrest last fall, is scheduled for a plea and sentencing hearing Wednesday in Merrimack County Superior Court.

Levesque is charged with several counts of both sexual assault and aggravated felonious sexual assault, as well as endangering the welfare of a child and possessing child pornography.

Authorities claim he sexually assaulted a male teenage student repeatedly between 2013 and 2014. The boy had been a student of Levesqueโ€™s during the 2012-13 academic year, according to police accounts.

A second former student reported a similar sexual relationship, but prosecutors said she had been over 16, the stateโ€™s age of consent. Levesque could still have faced charges for that alleged encounter, but only if he used his authority as a teacher to coerce her into it. The second student, a girl, said one encounter in December 2013 involved both Levesque and the alleged male victim.

Levesque was a coach for the Concord Capitols youth football program, but there was no evidence he had inappropriate contact with players. His initial attorney was Ray Raimo, the president of the football and cheer organization.

The accusations against Levesque were investigated by the Merrimack County Sheriffโ€™s Office because his brother is a Concord police officer.

Levesque has been out on bail since his arrest.
