The state fire marshal’s office is investigating two cases of alleged arson in Pittsfield, according to a press release.
The fires in question occurred at 11:45 p.m. Thursday and 4:15 a.m. Friday in the same location – 21 Park. St. The building is an occupied two-unit apartment building.
The state fire marshal, along with Pittsfield fire Chief Peter Pszonowsky and police Chief Jeffrey Cain, have determined the fires were intentionally set, the release stated.
