Another letter about superdelegates – perhaps the DNC will listen before it is too late.
The dictionary defines delegate as “a person designated to act for or represent another or others.”
For a majority of the New Hampshire superdelegates to declare for Hillary Clinton before “we the people” vote is out of line.
Kathy Sullivan says these people are entitled to have their say. I agree – in the polling booth like the rest of us. Recent articles have said a superdelegate’s vote is the equivalent of approximately 10,000 “we the people” votes. There is one household in New Hampshire that can, in effect, erase 20,000 votes. What? Yes, Mr. and Mrs. William Shaheen.
Both are superdelegates and both have declared for Clinton. I believe it is very important for all voters who care about this power imbalance to contact the New Hampshire superdelegates. An entire list can be found on Wikipedia. “We the people” need to let the DNC know that the status quo is no longer acceptable.
