On March 19, many area families visited the McLane Audubon Center for the second annual “Spring on the Wing” event, a celebration of returning birds and the coming of spring. Participants made bird masks, examined owl pellets, created nesting baskets and played egg games. Guests also enjoyed egg and scavenger hunts, stories, live animal presentations and an original skit about migrating birds.
