The Hillsboro-Deering JV baseball team fell to Somersworth, 10-5, on Friday. Jordon Berrocales hit an inside-the-park home run and Ben Ketterer executed a perfect suicide squeeze bunt. Landon McClure also played well.
The Concord High freshman baseball team defeated Spaulding, 12-2. Tyler Bruns pitched four innings, striking out three and allowing four hits. John Ahfeld pitched an inning to earn the save. Logan Galloway, Bruns and Adrien Kennedy each had two hits and Thomas Duhaime, Evan Makris and Jake Nelson had one apiece.
Hebert Fuel defeated Claudiaโs, 12-6. For Hebert, Brianna Lepage had two hits, scored two runs and had two putouts at home while catching a solid game. Taylor Renna had four strikeouts and one hit and scored three runs on offense. Mollie Wallace struck out four batters in two innings.
The Rowley Agency (Bow 1) defeated Joe Kingโs (Bow 2), 10-7. For Joe Kingโs, Halle Sullivan pitched well and Caitlyn Benson had a hit. For Rowley, Annika Geiben Lynn pitched well with five strikeouts and relief pitcher Emily Kiah allowed one run during the second half of the game.
Bow Plumbing & Heating defeated Vermette Orthodontist, 16-4. For Bow Plumbing & Heating, Emma Kelly had two hits and pitched two scoreless innings. Sidney Roberge pitched two solid innings and Ella Roos had two hits. For Vermette, Willa Marino had a great pitching debut, Margot Kennedy made a great play at shortstop and Ally McGonigle had a deep hit to centerfield.
Dickโs Sporting Goods beat Concord Family Vision, 4-2. For Dickโs, Sarah Taylor had a great day pitching while Sophia Vargas and Vanessa Rice led the offense. Concord Family Vision got a great performance by Maddie Kelley on the mound. Katie Blinn and Molly Ford had solid days at the plate.
Beckett Glass defeated Chichester in a seniors division game. Nicole Lebrun and Lauren Hauschild pitched a good game while Abigail Corbett and Caitlin Rule provided a solid defensive game for Beckett. Amelia Lewis and Brook Davison had great defense while Alexandra Bonacorsi pitched a good game for Chichester.
Concord Nationalโs Cimoโs Deli defeated the Hopkinton Hawks, 8-2. Libby Segal led the Cimoโs offense with a home run and two doubles while Jaelynn Kellerher and Alice Rosenberg combined to pitch a solid game from the circle. For the Hawks, Maddy Follansbee had a good day behind the plate, Julia Baer hit a double and scored a run and Kally Murdough pitched well, had a hit, scored a run and had four nice defensive putouts.
The Bow Pizza Man Dodgers defeated the Bow KBW Twins, 13-11. Myles Rheinhardt (2-for-3, three runs) hit a three-run walk-off home run to win the game. Ethan Gray (3-for-4, three runs), Cameron Evans (2-for-3, two runs), Matthew Wiley (hit, two runs), Ryan Lover (double, two runs), Dylan Gazaway (2-for-3, run) and Addie Kernen (hit). Karl Anderson played strong defense behind the plate and at third base.
The Bow U11 girlsโ soccer team defeated Windham, 4-0. Leading the offense were Lyndsey LaPerle, with two goals, and Sarah Lavigne and Isabella LaPerle, who added one each. Catherine Windsor, Megan Landcastle and Ellie Pingree combined for the shutout in goal. Meghan Wray also played well offensively.

Bowโs Ryan Boldwin, a freshman first baseman on the Franklin Pierce baseball team, hit an RBI single in a 19-2 victory over Bentley.
Hopkintonโs Andrew Clay, a sophomore pitcher on the Colby-Sawyer baseball team, pitched one shutout inning of relief and struck out two in a 10-0 loss to Husson.
Concordโs Katie Kennard, a junior on the Plymouth State softball team, brought home a run on a sacrifice fly to help the Panthers to an 8-1 victory over Western Connecticut. Kennard also drove home her teammate, Concordโs Deb Morrill, with a two-run homer in a 9-2 loss to Western Connecticut in the second game of a doubleheader.

The league is co-ed and is broken down into three divisions: Division A (ages 6-9), Division B (ages 9-11) and Division C (ages 12-14). NFL Flag Football will run May 1 through June 12. Division A runs 9-11 a.m., Division B 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and Division C from 1-3 p.m.
A tennis league is being offered with play at Merrill Park. The league is for advanced beginners to intermediate level players. Participants should be able to keep score and play singles and doubles.
