EAST SIDE Learn all about bread

NHTI’s Wings of Knowledge will present “Wheat, Flour and Bread” featuring Canterbury Bread Shop’s Dane Percy on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Grappone Hall Auditorium. WEST SIDE Moms get another prom

The spring leaf collection will begin Monday and run through June 5. Concord residents who currently participate in the curbside trash collection program are eligible. Materials are collected weekly for six weeks and must be curbside by 7 a.m. on the same day your regular trash is collected. Residents have two options for pick-up: waste is placed curbside in paper yard waste bags or in 30-gallon barrels weighing less than 50 pounds clearly marked as “Yard Waste.” No plastic bags containing yard waste will be collected. Concord General Services annual spring leaf collection for residents with curbside trash and recycling collection is scheduled to begin Monday and last through the first week of June. During these six weeks, participating residents must place their leaves and grass clippings at the curb by 7 a.m. on their trash collection day in biodegradable yard waste bags or labeled rigid containers for collection by our solid waste contractor. Unacceptable items will not be collected, including the use of plastic bags.
