Sue Gurnee and John Porter were married Feb. 26 at noon at Trinity Baptist Church in Concord. The double-ring ceremony was officiated by Dr. Chuck Phelps of Colonial Hills Baptist Church in Indianapolis, Ind., and the Rev. Joe Bolduc of Trinity Baptist Church. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Steve Sanborn. 

Mary Gurnee Kerr of Newmarket, daughter of the bride, was maid of honor. Other bridal attendants were Joan Murray of Manchester, sister-in-law of the bride and Anna Gurnee of Canterbury, daughter of the bride.

Norman Porter of Wilder, Vt., brother of the groom, was best man. Other groomsmen were Mark Brookhart of Jamestown, N.C., brother-in-law of the groom and Ralph Odell of Pittsfield, brother-in-law of the groom.

Cameron Kerr of Newmarket, grandson of the bride, was ring bearer and bell ringer.

Eva Kerr of Newmarket, granddaughter of the bride, was a flower girl.

The bride, daughter of the late William and Phyllis Sanborn of Deerfield, earned an associate degree from NHTI and has worked for the New Hampshire Department of Transportation for 20 years.

The groom, son of the late Clifton and Doris Porter of Lebanon, earned degrees from the University of New Hampshire, Cornell University and Bob Jones University. He retired as a dairy specialist for the UNH Cooperative Extension and works part-time running his own dairy consulting company and as a guidance counselor at Trinity Christian School in Concord.

The couple took a honeymoon cruise to the Caribbean and lives in Boscawen.
