Jeffrey Savage, CEO of Franklin Savings Bank, was named Volunteer of the Year by Granite United Way. He has volunteered with the organization for more than 35 years and has served on its board for more than 28. He has also participated in volunteer efforts with other groups. He received the Volunteer Award from the Granite United Way during its campaign celebration.
Detective Robert Buelte was recognized as Police Officer of the Year at the Concord Police Department annual awards ceremony. He joined the department in 2002 and previously worked for the UNH and Nottingham police departments.
Greta Ernst was recognized as Civilian of the Year at the Concord Police Department annual awards ceremony. She is a dispatcher and joined the department in 1981.
Sean Skabo was promoted to assistance vice president of cash management and business lending at Merrimack County Savings Bank. He has 27 years of experience, including 13 with Merrimack County Savings.
Benjamin Siracusa Hillman was named a shareholder and director at Shaheen & Gordon. He is chairman of the firm’s elder law, estate planning, probate and trust group. He joined the firm in 2011.
Dana Smith joined the law firm Patch, FitzGerald & Ward as an attorney focusing on landlord/tenant matters, family law, personal injury, civil litigation, worker’s compensation and social security disability claims. He is a 2013 graduate of UNH School fo Law.

Chris Emond of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire received the Advocate Award from the Granite United Way during its campaign celebration.
Dawn Hamel of Nathan Wechsler & Company was honored as employee campaign coordinator for the Granite United Way, which raised $8.22 million in the last year.
