Concord Grange No. 322 held its 40th annual Community Recognition awards and Grange membership honors event recently. Detective Robert Buelte was named the Law Enforcement Officer of the Year; Keith Richardson from the Concord Fire Department received the Firefighter of the Year. Gene Connolly was named Citizen of the Year. WLNH Radio Personality Nazzie was honored as the Entertainer of the Year. Christopher Hilstro from the Concord City Code Enforcement received the Public Servant of the year. Todd Larocque received the Young Farmer of the Year. James Audet received the Community Spirit award for his involvement with the Christmas creche. Chris Brown received a Community Spirit award for involvement with the Black Ice Hockey Tourney. Michael Dempsey received the Veteran of the Year award. State Police Officer Mark Barrett received the State Police Award. Clara Brogan was honored with the Lifetime Achievement award. Jim Rivers and Jim Jeannotte were honored with Lifetime Achievement awards. Michael Geary received the Lifetime Veteran Achievement award. Tony Schinella was honored with the Online Media award. Kira Wood was honored with a Youth award for Concord Civil Air Patrol. Joshua Hardy from CCTV received the Youth award. Robert Hardy was honored with his 50-year Grange membership award.
