Keeping New Hampshire safe is too important for voters to entrust it to someone who doesn’t have the knowledge or a record to make the difficult decisions that go along with it.
As a regular Concord Monitor reader, I noticed two days worth of coverage last week noting Gov. Hassan’s lack of experience on national security issues.
Hassan’s meeting with the paper’s editorial board was just the latest episode exposing her lack of knowledge on threats to our nation’s security. I don’t vote down party lines, but I do vote for candidates who I can trust to keep me and my family safe.
As the U.S. Senate plays an important role in matters of national security, New Hampshire can’t make the mistake of electing someone so inexperienced and unprepared on national security as Gov. Hassan.
I hope she studies up, but someone so naive on such important issues cannot count on my vote.
