White Birch Community Center in Henniker was recognized in multiple categories at a celebration of early childhood and afterschool professionals April 12 in Pembroke, which was attended by Gov. Maggie Hassan, Department of Health and Human Services Commissioner Jeffery Meyers and Department of Education Commissioner Virginia Barry. White Birch Executive Director Marc McMurphy was selected as an Early Learning N.H. Champion and six educators were recognized for credential milestones.
