The New Hampshire Department of Corrections awarded employees with medals and bars during a National Correctional Employees Appreciation Week at the New Hampshire Correctional Facility for Women in Goffstown.

Team Commendation citation bar: Corrections Sergeant Jennifer DeLacy assisted a fellow officer at the Shea Farm Transitional Housing Unit in Concord after she had suddenly become ill and needed emergency transportation to the hospital.

Life Saving citation bar: Corrections Sergeant Michael Farrell, Corrections Corporal Athena Panas, and nurses Chelsea Cahill and Tina Crisafulli provided emergency care to an inmate who had cut her wrist in a suicide attempt.

Life Saving citation bar: Corrections Corporal Athena Panas, Corrections Officer Amanda Turcotte, Corrections Officer Madeline Gonzalez; and nurse Chelsea Cahill prevented a suicide attempt, during which the inmate caused a deep wound in her hip.
