Donald Trump said he would use water boarding, which he did not consider torture, as well as “real torture.”He said he would bomb families of fighters. He would be ordering our military and CIA to commit war crimes. If they set foot in Europe or any of the 139 countries that signed the International Criminal Court Statute, they could be arrested and tried as war criminals.

He said he thinks Japan and Saudi Arabia should get nuclear weapons. It was Saudi citizens who carried out the 9-11 attacks. Saudi citizens finance the various branches of al-Qaeda. The Saudi government’s bombing campaign in Yemen freed hundreds of al-Qaeda prisoners in that country. That branch of al-Qaeda tried twice to blow up U.S. passenger planes, yet Mr. Trump wants their ally, Saudi Arabia, to have nuclear weapons.

This is not someone who should be our commander-in-chief. Nor should he be trusted with appointing our next Supreme Court justice. Unfortunately, Sen. Kelly Ayotte is working to make sure he will have a chance to appoint the next justice. She supports him for president. I question Sen. Ayotte’s judgment and so should you.
