After a long dry spell, New Hampshire will see its third medical marijuana dispensary open in a little more than a two-week span.
Temescal Wellness Inc.’s Lebanon dispensary will begin selling therapeutic cannabis start Sunday, when the dispensary will open for business.
The New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services issued a registration certificate to Temescal to allow the alternative treatment center to begin operation.
Temescal’s Dover dispensary opened May 5 and Sanctuary ATC’s Plymouth dispensary April 30. Prime ATC, which is completing construction of its cultivation center, expects to open its dispensary in Merrimack this summer.
Qualifying patients and designated caregivers must select one of the four dispensaries and can obtain therapeutic cannabis only at the designated ATC.
Patients from the Concord area will be served by the Merrimack dispensary. Those who wish to use another dispensary must request a change. Applications and other information can be found on the Therapeutic Cannabis Program page on the DHHS website at dhhs.nh.gov/oos/tcp/index.htm.
