Center Woods Elementary and Upper Elementary School students participated in the invention convention at their school and then the state competition. Of the nine New Hampshire inventor teams selected to compete at the national convention in Washington, D.C., from Thursday to Saturday, three are from the Weare schools.
The students are kindergartener Gracie Meisser with the Cleaner Upper, third-graders Hailey Duval and Ryan Mucci with the Safety Backpack, and fifth-graders Sophia Pollard and Gracie Bowmar with Sporty Specks Bands.
