If you were lucky enough to see the Concord Community Players’ production of The Pirates of Penzance then you were lucky enough. What a show!
The music was spectacular. The sound from that small orchestra was rousing. The leads were all strong in their roles. The singers were delightful. The supporting cast and the costumes all very fine.
One pirate in particular captured out attention throughout the performance. Samuel had the mannerisms and stereotypical behavior of a swashbuckling pirate on the high seas. Arrrgh!
A perfect Mother’s Day weekend out escape.
