The Hopkinton JV baseball team (8-6) finished the season up falling to Campbell, 7-2. Mike Baer, Kevin Newton-Delgado, Zach Signor (run) and Larsen Burack (run) each had a single. Dan Tucker, Colby Marshall, Sam Crawford and Evan Jacobsen all played well defensively.
The Hopkinton Middle School softball team tied Belmont and lost to both Winnisquam and Merrimack Valley this week. Against Belmont, Renee Brogan had two hits and Jordyn Barrett smacked a two-out, two-run triple in the bottom of the seventh. Megan Kimball-Rhines struck out 17 in the circle for a complete game. Against Winnisquam, Brooke Carlson, Emma Crawford and Hailey Gordon had great at-bats, while Mia Richter, Alex Bessette and Katie Collins led the offense against MV.
Youth baseball
In Concord Little League action, Swenson Granite beat Tilton Northfield Little League’s Phillips Auto Sales, 16-6. Concord’s Habakkuh Tarwo, Ayoob Ismael and Ben McKean combined for five home runs. Chris Burke picked up the win, pitching 4 innings with seven strikeouts on the mound.
In Concord Northeast majors action, Banks Chevrolet (12-0) defeated The Pizza Man of Bow, 9-5. Daniel Chase got the win on the mound, throwing three solid innings for Banks. Brady Rice smacked his first career home run, sparking the offense, while Donovan Hayes also hit well.

Session I will be held June 29-July 2, followed by Session II from July 6-9 and the youth clinic will be held July 7-8.
