Who is the unsung hero of your team and why? Volunteer assistant coach Scott Britton. Coach Britton comes to every practice and travels to all away games on his own time and always keeps the team loose with his constant sarcastically hilarious remarks.

What has been the biggest surprise of the season? We’ve surprised a lot of people with our record this year. We even cracked the top 10 for the statewide rankings. Our season has been the most successful in school history – not really a surprise to our team as we knew we had potential, but definitely a surprise to the rest of the NH baseball community.

Who has been your toughest opponent and why? Goffstown has been my personal toughest opponent. They have guys 1-9 in the order that can all hit, making them a real challenge for opposing pitchers.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? If no, why not? I had a pair of pants that I had been wearing since last year. They developed a small hole in the back and then as the season wore on the hole got larger and larger. I hadn’t lost a game in those pants so I refused to get new ones. Eventually I got new pants and ended up losing the very next game I started, my only loss of the season so far.

What’s your favorite pregame meal? Usually some type of mixed nuts or trail mix. I try and eat just the right amount so I’m not hungry but also not overly full.

If you weren’t playing your sport in the spring, what would you be doing? I would use my free time to support my friends who play other sports like lacrosse.

If you could go to see any sporting event, what would it be? I would love to go to the Summer Olympics.

What’s your favorite place to eat? Can’t ever go wrong with a burger from Five Guys.

What’s your most played song right now? “Livin’ the Dream” by Drake White

Do you have any must-see television shows? “The Office”

What’s your favorite website? I use the MLB At Bat app a lot on my phone to check scores and stats.

If you could be anyone else, who would you be? Why? I’ve always said that Tom Brady probably has the best life ever. No explanation necessary.

If someone made a movie of your season, who would play you? Who would play your coach? A young Tom Cruise would play me and my coach would be played by Tom Hanks.

If you could invite any three people to dinner, who would they be, what would you serve them and what would you talk about? I would invite Albert Einstein, Ronald Reagan, and my grandfather who passed away before I was born. I think I’d take them to a restaurant that serves southern style BBQ meals and I’d ask for advice and listen to them tell stories.

If you won $10 million in the lottery, what would you do with it? Take care of my family, pay for college, donate money to put towards the town’s athletic fields, and spend lots of time traveling the world.
