Who is the unsung hero of your team and why? I would have to say Ian Bready is the unsung hero of our track team. He has put much effort into this season and has racked up the points that helped place us in many of the meets we have gone to.

What has been the biggest surprise of the season? When my teammate and friend, Troy Davis and I were both voted male athlete of the meet at the CVC’s.

Who has been your toughest opponent and why? So far, I would have to say my toughest opponent has been myself. As a graduating senior, I’ve been finding it difficult to stay motivated, but the encouragement of friends, family and other athletes I was able to overcome this and want to make this the best season I could.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? If no, why not? I generally don’t have any superstitions, but I do try to stay away from unhealthy food the day before the track meet.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? Steak

If you weren’t playing your sport in the spring, what would you be doing? Most likely weightlifting, training and getting ready for the track season.

If you could go to see any sporting event, what would it be? I would love to go and see Olympic-level shot putters one day.

What’s your favorite place to eat? Jewel of India in Hanover

What’s your most-played song right now? “Little Bitty Pretty One” by Thirston Harris

Do you have any must-see television shows? I would like to continue watching “Game of Thrones.” 

What’s your favorite website? Wikipedia. It has saved me many times.

If you could be anyone else, who would you be? Why? I don’t think I would want to be anyone else, because I am happy as who I am.

If someone made a movie of your season, who would play you? Who would play your coach? I’d have to say Tom Hardy as suggested by a friend would play me, and Harrison Ford would be my coach.

If you could invite any three people to dinner, who would they be, what would you serve them and what would you talk about? Three people I would invite to dinner is Ulf Timmerman, who was one of the best shot putters in the world, Ceaser and Orson Scott Card. I would serve steak and we would talk about the good things in life.

If you won $10 million in the lottery, what would you do with it? I would invest the money and make low risk investments.
