Who is the unsung hero of your team and why? Olivia Langevin is the unsung hero of our team because whenever she is on the field I feel as though I have her to rely on whether it is to pick me up from making a mistake in the game or making a solid play at shortstop to get an out. She is an all-around amazing athlete as well as a down to earth individual. Liv is very quiet, but I got to see her come out of her shell this year and without her this team wouldn’t have been the same.

What has been the biggest surprise of the season? I think the biggest surprise of the season is how far our capabilities as a team have taken us. We lost five seniors last year who were all solid players. I knew there would be some big holes to fill. At the beginning of the season it was going to be a surprise to me how we were going to play as a team this year. I had faith that we would pull through and my team has done nothing but surprise me through each and every game we have played. We have had awesome wins and tough losses. We always put up a fight and I couldn’t be any more proud.

Who has been your toughest opponent and why? I would say that our toughest opponent is Goffstown. The two times we have played them this year have been really good games. Our first game we only lost by one point. Our second game we played against each other went into an 11 inning game. They are a great team and I feel as though going into a game against Goffstown either one of us has a shot at winning. We both put up good fights against each other.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? If no, why not? I personally do not have any sports superstitions. I haven’t really given that much thought before. As a team though we try to remember if we wore eye black a time that we won against a certain team. If we did wear eye black and we won then we would wear it again.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? My favorite pre-game meal is chicken fingers.

If you weren’t playing your sport in the spring, what would you be doing? I would try to do some things that I either don’t do often or have never done before. I would go hiking and kayaking. I would rather stay athletic in some way, shape, or form. My dad and I go to the park often and he tries to teach me how to play basketball because that’s a sport I’ve never played, but wish I had. So if I weren’t playing a spring sport I would take more time with my dad to teach me the rules of playing basketball.

If you could go to see any sporting event, what would it be? Game 7 of the World Series.

What’s your favorite place to eat? I went to Disney recently and ate at this place called T-Rex restaurant. I would say that would be one of my favorite places I have ever eaten at. It was kind of like the Rainforest Café, just the themes were different.

What’s your most-played song right now? My most played song right now is “Blue (KNY Factory Remix)” by Eiffel 65.

Do you have any must-see television shows? My only must-see television show would be “Chuck,” which is on Netflix.

What’s your favorite website? Youtube

If you could be anyone else, who would you be? Why? I would be Jennie Finch because she is an incredibly talented and beautiful softball pitcher.

If someone made a movie of your season, who would play you? Who would play your coach? I would want Jennie Finch to play me because that is who I would strive to be. I would have Bethany Hamilton play my coach because Bethany Hamilton was a surfer that was attacked by a shark, but surfing meant so much to her she found her way back to it. Ashley Gladu, my coach, has taught me to play my games with all I got because you never know if it will be your last. I never gave this much thought until she put this idea in my head. As I am coming to the end of my last year of high school ball I really don’t know when I will be playing my last game and that does scare me. But Ashley went through this and she found her way back to softball by becoming a coach.

If you could invite any three people to dinner, who would they be, what would you serve them and what would you talk about? If I could invite three people to dinner they would be my high school softball coach Ashley Gladu, my pervious ASA softball coach Russ Saucier, and my sister, Brittney Palmisano. I would serve them anything that they want in honor of them being the reason I am where I am at today. I would tell each and every one of them what it is that I appreciate them for. My sister played softball when I was younger and she is the reason that I started playing and she is also the reason that I started pitching. I will always refer to Russ Saucier as my coach because he has been one of the only people that saw potential in me and gave me hope and confidence as an athlete and individual. Without him I wouldn’t be the player I am today. And last, but not least Ashley Gladu. The one who is coaching me through my final year of high school ball. She has been there for me in so many ways and she has pushed me to be the player that I have always dreamed of being.

If you won $10 million in the lottery, what would you do with it? I would buy a big house with a lot of land resembling the house that I was raised in when my family was still together. I took for granted all of the nice things we had. We had a pool, golf cart, bikes, and a lot of land. Many days I would spend my time inside just watching TV. After moving around a couple of times into apartments each time I realize how I wished I had that land again just one more time. I have never felt the saying “You don’t know what you’re missing until it’s gone” feel more true. I am thankful now for the family that I had and the things we shared, but now it’s too late. So if I were to have $10 million dollars I would use it to re-create this and re-do things the right way.
