Who is the unsung hero of your team and why? The unsung hero would definitely have to be our catcher Bryce Corey. He is only a sophomore and it’s his first year on varsity but he is calling games behind the plate like a veteran. He saves lots of runs as our full time backstop and he will be fun to watch in the next couple years.

What has been the biggest surprise of the season? The surprise of the season would have to be the play of Christian Serrano. It is his first baseball season since middle school and he is batting second in the order and hitting over .300. His defense in the outfield is stellar and we couldn’t have asked for any more from him this season.

Who has been your toughest opponent and why? Our toughest opponent was Campbell, they just don’t beat themselves. They have a complete lineup one through nine and their pitching is usually top tier.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? If no, why not? Since I was in Little League, every game I played I would put a baseball card of Pedro Martinez in my back pocket. Just for good luck if I ever got on the mound.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? My favorite pregame meal is a nice grilled cheese sandwich. Nothing can top that.

If you weren’t playing your sport in the spring, what would you be doing? I would most definitely be golfing, or just trying to not slice into the woods.

If you could go to see any sporting event, what would it be? I would go see the ALCS between the Red Sox and the Yankees. If I could go back in time I would go to the 2004 ALCS, the greatest comeback ever.

What’s your favorite place to eat? McDonalds. No shame.

What’s your most-played song right now? “All the Way Up” by Fat Joe, Remy Ma

Do you have any must-see television shows? “Prison Break,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Breaking Bad” and “Gossip Girl”

What’s your favorite website? Twitter

If you could be anyone else, who would you be? Why? I would want to be my football coach Pat Riberde. He is such a nice guy with great character and astounding coaching ability.

If someone made a movie of your season, who would play you? Who would play your coach? I would be played by the GOAT Tom Brady and my coach would have to be Morgan Freeman because he always sounds so wise.

If you could invite any three people to dinner, who would they be, what would you serve them and what would you talk about? My guests would include David Ortiz, Tom Brady, and Paul Pierce. We would eat some McNuggets and fries while talking about Deflategate.

If you won $10 million in the lottery, what would you do with it? Pay for college, give a quarter to my parents, donate a quarter to St. Jude Children Hospital, and buy myself a new car. The rest I will save until I really need something.
