Center Woods Upper Elementary School fifth-grade students recently took an overnight field trip to the Museum of Science in Boston. Students arrived Friday night to begin their “Night in the Museum” adventure. This overnight program at the Museum of Science allows students and their chaperones the opportunity to discover science in an entertaining, educational and interactive way through hands-on science activities and demonstrations. In addition to their educational, hands-on exploring, the students also viewed a movie about whales in the MugarOmni Theater, where the screen is five stories tall, and the watched the “Lightning!” show in the Theater of Electricity. The Night in the Museum ended with students sleeping overnight in the museum.
