Dear Concord community, this letter is to express the sincere appreciation of the Concord High School New Hampshire Scholars Club to local businesses who supported our gift card raffle last month.
Through the generous contribution of these folks, we were able to award our first ever student-to-student scholarship at our award celebration May 26.
We would like to thank: Red River Theater, Bead It, Pitchfork Records, Spirit Wings, Roy Nails and Spa and New England Cupcakery and Warren Street Gulf Express for offering gift cards that were enthusiastically awarded to prize winners at daily drawings on CHS Live, the high school’s internal on-air news.
N.H. State Scholars is a statewide organization that promotes academic involvement of students to become “Career Ready, College Ready, Ready for Life!” Our local N.H. Scholars Club will continue to look for local business partnerships in the future to enhance our understanding of potential careers and opportunities. We appreciate the generosity of these and other local professionals who support our goals.
