As a young first-time eligible voter for the approaching election, I am disheartened by the two very inadequate options resulting from the primary elections.
I cannot identify with either political party’s nominees.
Donald Trump is inconsistent, blatantly racist and violently explosive. Hillary Clinton is a verifiable liar, a feminist at convenience, and also completely out of touch with the middle class.
It is unfortunate that so many Americans have been swept away by the waves of deception flowing from the mouths of both party candidates, and it is my sincere hope that another, more viable option will arise in the near future.
Otherwise, I will be staying home on Nov. 8, for it goes against my judgment to succumb to electing either of the two current nominees.
