Travesty of justice

I have just witnessed the most abominable outcome of justice that I have ever seen in our state. An innocent man, Foad Afshar, who has helped thousands of kids, was found guilty of abusing a child.

Watching the trial, I have no idea how the jury could come up with such an insane verdict. Someone must have had some doubt. Many of us in the greater Concord community know this man to be the kind, honest, caring person that he is.

I hope someone will right this verdict. I have lost all faith in our system.
