Tyler Hussey was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Nichols College in Dudley, Mass. Hussey is a human resource management major.

Elizabeth Donlon received the General Electric Edison mechanical engineering book prize, for the mechanical engineering major who demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y.

GraceAnn Kontak earned top honors in a musical theater competition sponsored by the National Association of Teachers of Singing. She is a voice student at Concord Community Music School. She will be in the live national semifinal rounds in Chicago this summer.

Christopher Renaud was cast as Billy Elliot in The Marblehead Little Theatre’s production of Billy Elliot. He is in sixth grade at Rundlett Middle School.

Patricia Finn earned a master’s degree in nursing from Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine.

Brianne Cappock earned a master’s degree in health administration from Saint Joseph’s College in Standish, Maine.

Rebecca Sherman was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Salve Regina University in Newport, R.I.

Gilford

Sonya Shafique earned a bachelor’s degree in biological science from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.

Catherine Buckley was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I.

Brendan Auth earned a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.

Laconia

Alec Walker was awarded a J. William Fulbright grant from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass. This is a post-baccalaureate study/research/teaching award given annually to the nation’s best and brightest college students. He majored in history and German studies and will study for a year in Germany.

Loudon

Matthew Latorella received an Alfred T. Granger Fellowship from Plan NH for being an outstanding undergraduate student pursuing a career in architecture, engineering or design. He is completing his bachelor’s degree in design studies, with a concentration in digital design and visualization, at Boston Architectural College.
