A new state liquor store will be built in Warner on Route 103, near Exit 9 of Interstate 89.

The state Liquor Commission on Friday announced plans to build the stand-alone, 10,500-square-foot store in a plaza that also features Market Basket, Aubuchon Hardware and Dunkin’ Donuts.

The new store is expected to open in July 2017 and has projected annual sales of $5.5 million, according to a statement from the commission.

The outlet will have a staff of about 14 employees.

The commission recently opened new stores in Londonderry, Seabrook and New Hampton, and it is building a new 33,000-square-foot store, the biggest ever, in Nashua.

The nearest state liquor stores to Warner are in Concord, Hillsboro and New London.
