Rowdy Tellez continued his All-Star season by driving in the game-winning run for the New Hampshire Fisher Cats in a 5-4 victory over the Portland Sea Dogs on Sunday in Portland, Maine.
The single by Tellez capped a two-run inning and gave the Fisher Cats a 5-4 lead after Jason Leblebijian hit an RBI single earlier in the inning.
John Stilson got the win for New Hampshire (42-51) with a scoreless inning in relief in the Eastern League tilt. Chris Smith pitched two scoreless innings for his fourth save of the season.
Yoan Moncada, the top prospect for the Boston Red Sox, scored two runs in two at-bats and hit a double for Portland (34-59).
The Fisher Cats host Reading tonight at 7:05 p.m. to kick off a three-game series.
