A German shepherd puppy that went missing after a single-car accident in Bow has been found.

Six-month-old Lotto survived 11 days on the run after taking off when the truck he was riding in crashed on Interstate 93 on July 23. Travis Gallant was traveling south when he apparently fell asleep, went off the right side of the road, rolled over and hit a tree. Gallant and a passenger were taken to a hospital, where they were treated for injuries.

On Tuesday, someone reported seeing Lotto in the woods and contacted Granite State Dog Recovery, which had already initiated a search for the dog, WMUR reported.

Lotto was caught Thursday morning in a Granite State Dog Recovery trap and was reunited with its owner.

The pup was found in good health, save a few ticks.

The dog’s owner, Felicia Haenel, told WMUR she “couldn’t even believe” he was found.

“I literally just felt like crying when I got that call,” she told the news station.
